    Adding Attachments in Yahoo Email is computer lesson plan part 4 in the 4 part group of Learning Yahoo email.

    Log in to your Yahoo Email Account:

     Open a ‘NEW’ message.

    Write a note if you’d like, possibly explaining the attachment.

     A paperclip is a common icon for attachments. Click the attach button with the paperclip.             _____

    You then must Browse to find what you want to attach.

    Follow the path you set up when saving this document or photo. 

    So, if you have it saved in a ‘My Documents’ file from your desktop, you would click the down arrow, next to ‘Look in’, and follow the path to the photo. 

     

    Desktop, My Documents, My Pictures, the file the picture is in…

    When you double click on the final destination (which is the photo, in this case) it makes the attachment, in this case the photo is attached to the email to be sent so the person who receives it, can now open the photo on their computer.
    Want to share more than one thing? Add more. Do it all again, it’ll be good practice!

    Keep in mind that there is a limit to the amount that can be successfully sent and the amount the receiver’s computer can handle receiving!

    You can see under the subject line that you have successfully added an attachment to your message. Now fill out the address line, probably add a subject and a message, then click send.
